So it seems the new "hot shit" on the streets these days is to "Sext" or rather, text sexy pics back and forth to your bf or gf. All the high school kiddies are getting involved and at first glance it all seems harmless enough to me, just the result of kids evolving with technology. However, the legal ramifications of such actions, particularly for those who are "sexting" under the legal age or "sexting" as an adult to a minor ( ie statutory sexting), can be quite harsh. In many of the cases discussed in the attached article the kids were 16-18 and had no clue that they could get legally effed because of their "Sexting". Now, as I gaze fondly back on my high school days and think of the amazing "sext" I could have been having it eats me up inside...then I read the following article and realize I may have ended up a class A sex offender...phew.
